Seven reasons to join our Brighton College Bangkok A Level Scholarship Day

The ‘A Level Scholarship Day’ on campus is open to pupils aged 15-16 on Saturday 20 November, from 08.30 to 13.45. You will find out more about the A Levels we offer, what it means to be a student in our outstanding 6th form and have the opportunity to show your talent to earn a financial scholarship.

1- In 2021 Brighton College Bangkok celebrated A Level results that were among the best in Thailand, with 13th graders achieving 97% of their grades in A* or A. B grades at IGCSE in 2021, across a wide range of subjects .

2- These results are consistent with success across the Brighton College family of schools, with Brighton College in the UK retaining its position as the number one co-educational school in England for exam results. Brighton College in the UK has also been recognized as England’s Independent School of the Decade by the Sunday Times.

3- Graduates of Brighton College Bangkok have gone on to study at some of the best universities around the world – in the UK, USA, Europe and Thailand.

4- High quality university consultations are provided at Brighton College Bangkok. Sixth Form students aspiring to attend Oxford, Cambridge or Ivy League universities can access courses and resources directly from Brighton College UK, as well as specialist training and preparation provided by our dedicated Sixth Form team.

5- Our School for Medicine program is an innovative school-wide solution to developing knowledge and interest in a career in medicine-related fields. It will enrich and expand the education of all students while especially attracting those who wish to apply for medicine or related courses at the university. Click for more details here:

6- Sixth graders here enjoy small numbers of classes where they benefit from excellent specialist teachers and a choice of 21 different first-level subjects. Every year (epidemics permitting), we aim to send pupils to our sister school in the UK. In 2020, a group of Grade 12 students enjoyed a week in Brighton, meeting peers, receiving guidance on university applications, and visiting British universities.

7. Our sixth model provides a wide range of extra-curricular activities that develop and expand a range of skills and attributes. Students can participate in the school’s various music and sports activities as well as one-off performances, events and installations. They can also take on leadership roles across the college that allow them to become ambassadors within the local and broader community, as well as focus on projects that relate to our key commitments to promoting kindness and social responsibility. This in turn leads to co-curricular events at the school as well as participation in programs such as the International Prize and Model United Nations to hone vital skills that facilitate a smooth and successful transition to the demands and rigor of the top colleges and universities that students apply to.
