Netflix Games rolls out for Apple iPhone and iPad users across the world

Netflix games will now start rolling out to Apple iPhone and iPad users around the world. Netflix got into the gaming sector a few days ago starting with only Android devices. Now, the US-based streaming platform has said that the games will be available for iOS users as well. Netflix launched the games on November 2 with five mobile games: Stranger Things: 1984 (BonusXP), Stranger Things 3: The Game (BonusXP), Shooting Hoops (Frosty Pop), Card Blast (Amuzo & Rogue Games), and Teeter Up (Frosty Pop) .

No additional in-app purchase is required to play these games. Your current plan is sufficient to do so. You can play it offline as well. You can play Netflix Games on iPhone and iPad. The games will only be accessed by adult profiles and will be banned from children for the time being. You can also set a PIN to disable access.

The announcement came within just a week of Android being introduced. The games will appear in your Netflix interface but can also be downloaded from the Play Store if you are an Android user and the App Store for your iOS fan base.

“We want to start building a library of games that offers something for everyone. We are in the early days of creating a great gaming experience, and we are excited to take you on this journey with us,” the company said during the games launch.

Netflix has skyrocketed globally since the launch of Squid. The US-based streaming platform hired Mike Verdu who was at Facebook to push its gaming platform.

The streaming platform will develop and release new games in the future depending on hardware configurations.
