A male has been identified as having committed inappropriate acts at two schools in the South in the past month.
The investigation found that the man’s actions had been misinterpreted by a witness, and in fact no immoral acts had occurred.
Just before 6 p.m. on October 8, a witness called police and reported seeing an elderly man exposing himself behind a bush on school property on Clairfields Drive an hour earlier. He followed the male caller to another school on Colonial Drive where he again reported that the male had entered some bush and exposed himself.
The Guelph Police Department’s Public Investigations and Special Projects Unit continued its investigation and determined that there was no danger to the community from the man in question.
