It’s National Scholarship Month. I mean, it’s also National Pepper Month, Novel Writing Month, Peanut Butter Lover Month, Big Pet Adoption Month, Manatee Awareness Month, and Impotence Month. But let’s focus on scholarships.
Not sure if you’ve heard, but college is probably a little expensive. Fortunately, there are plenty of scholarships waiting for you. . . You just have to know where to look for them and how to get them. Here are our three tricks:
1. Look for mysterious scholarships. Thousands of companies now offer college scholarships, and it is usually easy to apply for them. Most of them aren’t for a lot of money, consider around $500 to $1,000, but that adds up. Here are just a few. . .
You can get a scholarship to say the dead person you want to meet. To make a video that tells jokes. To share the brand you love. To wear duct tape to prom. To give advice on how to get deals. or . . . For advice on surviving the zombie apocalypse.
2. Ask the people behind the grant for advice. The people who offer a scholarship know what they are looking for. So ask them. Not only will you get good tips on how to win the scholarship, but they will research your application when it comes.
3. Follow all instructions, especially the optional ones. Make sure to follow all instructions for the scholarship. And if there is an optional requirement, do so. This combination of attention to detail and extra effort alone will put you ahead of the pack.
